Jeddah Carrell, Head Teacher

Hello!  My name is Jeddah and I am lucky to be working with the fun and bright four year old class! 

I am originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, but have been in the Salt Lake Valley for almost three years.  I am in the process of going back to school to continue my studies in early childhood education with an emphasis in bilingual education. 

I have been at C Street since May 2007 and have loved every minute of it.  I have worked in the child care and preschool environment since I was the age of fourteen (as a volunteer of course!) in my little sister’s summer preschool class.  Professionally, I have worked in preschools for over four years now…..not to give away my age, but that’s over ten years.  :)

I love this age when a child is growing, always observing, and always eager to know and feel new things.  Having grown up in such a multi-cultural setting and seeing that Salt Lake City is also very diverse, I love teaching about different traditions, cultures, and communities.  I am blessed to have the opportunity to teach and share my love of these things along with music and nature to the community here at C Street. I am loving my time here in Utah, although I don’t think I will ever get used to the snow! 

My favorite color is blue, I love Muppet movies, and I love to sing and jam out to Broadway tunes!
