Thank you for your interest in C Street!  We appreciate your consideration and hope your search for an early childhood program is going well!  Below is information for you concerning our Enrollment Process so you better understand how to proceed.  It can be quite confusing, so please take a moment to read it thoroughly! PLEASE NOTE: C Street operates a year round Waiting List for nearly all age groups.  If you are in need of child care right away, please contact Child Care Resource and Referral at 801-355-HUGS.  Unfortunately--due to the high volume of community interest we recieve on a daily basis, tours are given only to families whose child(ren) meet the birthdate criteria.

Current WAITING LIST openings are for the following birthdate ranges (criteria) only.  If your child's birthdate does not fall into one of these ranges, the waiting list is full and not allowing more additions at this time.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Admission to C Street Child Development Center is based on space availability without regard to race, religion, national origin, or ancestry.  We accept children from six weeks through sixth grade year around.  During the school year, children in first through sixth grade will be accepted into the before and after school program.  Admittance for any child(ren) into the Program is decided when birthdate criteria is met, the Directors, teacher, and parents agree that the program will meet the individual needs of the child, and the child’s admittance will not be detrimental to the group as a whole.

ENROLLMENT PRIORITIES of C Street:
1.  Siblings of any currently enrolled child are first priority.
2.  Members of the First Presbyterian Church*  are second priority.
           *Pastoral Recommendation: If you are a member of the First Presbyterian Church of SLC and do not meet the birthdate criteria in order to recieve a tour and join the waiting list, you may             be sponsored in (and recieve a tour) by James Holeman, Associate Pastor of FPC.  He can grant deemed status which would then enable a family to join the waiting list.  Please contact             him directly for a Pastoral Recommendation and tour:  jholeman@fpcslc.org .
     

The admission steps are as follows:
1.  A tour of the facility and classrooms must be completed.
2.  You are offered a space by C Street Administration (generally after clearing the waiting list).
3.  Parents/Guardians complete an Intake Appointment (new family orientation).
4.  You formally apply into the program via submitting the Program Application.
PLEASE NOTE: if/when offered a space from the Waiting List, we allow 7 days for you to accept or decline the offer (in written form via e-mail).  An Intake Appt. must be conducted and the Program Application must be submitted before a space will be held for your child.
